Professional Email Terms of Service (NE TOS)

This Professional Email Terms of Service agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the rules and conditions of Your use of the Jiinubi Professional Email powered by Open-Xchange (“Services”) delivered by Jiinubi. By using the Services, You acknowledge and covenant to abide by these terms, along with the Jiinubi Hosting Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which are hereby incorporated by reference.

1. General Use Statements

1.1 Account Start-Up

Services require linkage to a domain name to be operational. By purchasing Services, You represent that the associated domain name belongs to You or You possess the necessary access rights. Jiinubi may render assistance with account start-up if a request is submitted to the Hosting – Email Support department.

1.2 Usage Limitations and Account Provisions

Jiinubi may introduce general practices and limits toward the Service, including:

  • Maximum retention days for email messages.
  • Outgoing and incoming size restrictions for messages and file attachments.
  • Maximum disk space allotted per subscription plan.

Outgoing Email Hourly Limits (per domain):

Pro 1,000 emails/hour
Ultimate 1,500 emails/hour
Trial Plans 50 emails/hour
  • Recipient Limits: Any single email sent from Private Email is limited to 50 recipients total in the TO, CC, and BCC fields.
  • Traffic Quota: Subscriptions are subject to a quota limit of 2GB per hour per domain to ensure fair usage.
  • Sync Limitations: A maximum of 90 days of emails and 1,800 total messages can be displayed via ActiveSync. A maximum of 10,000 folders can be displayed.

Additional Service Caps:

Maximum of 250,000 units for each of the following: calendar appointments, address book contacts, files in Drive, and personal information manager (PIM) attachments.

1.3 Restrictions

  • Trial plans are not available for domains with the following TLDs: .tk /.ml /.ga /.cf /.gq.
  • Professional Email (paid or trial) is not available for domains with TLDs including: .ru /.by /.su and associated IDNs.

2. Storage and Security

2.1 Credential Responsibility

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your Account access credentials, including usernames, support PINs, and passwords. Jiinubi will not change passwords without satisfactory proof of identification, which may include signed written authorization.

2.2 AI Moderation and Security

To maintain service reliability, Jiinubi may use trusted AI technologies—including the OpenAI Moderation tool—to scan limited portions of email content for spam, phishing, or harmful activity. Data processed via this tool is subject to strict privacy controls, is not used to train AI models, and is not stored after the scan, except for short-term abuse logs kept up to 30 days.

2.3 Backups

Jiinubi servers are backed up daily, with archives stored for 14 days. These backups are for server restoration and internal purposes only. It is Your responsibility to maintain independent local copies of Your account content.

3. User Obligations and Prohibited Activities

By using the Services, You agree to follow generally accepted rules of “Netiquette” and avoid misuse of the system. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (“SPAM”) or engaging in “Mail Bombing.”
  • Forgery of email headers (“spoofing”).
  • Automating third-party services’ email verification or creating temporary “Hide My Email” aliases.
  • Violating the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act of 2008.

Corrective Measures: Jiinubi reserves the right to lock accounts for abuse. Accounts locked for more than 14 calendar days without corrective measures from the user will be terminated, and all backup copies permanently deleted.

4. Payment, Renewal, and Restoration

  • Renewal: If auto-renewal is enabled, Jiinubi will attempt to renew Services 30 days prior to the expiration date.
  • Service Restoration: If a balance remains unpaid for 30 days after the billing date, Jiinubi reserves the right to terminate the Service and delete account content.
  • Administrative Fees: Closed accounts incur a $15.00 charge per incident for inquiries regarding historical support or services.

5. Cancellation and Refund Terms

  • Refund Policy: New purchases or renewals of paid Professional Email may be refundable at Jiinubi’s discretion if requested within 7 days of the charge, provided there is a valid reason.
  • Termination: You may terminate this Agreement by submitting a cancellation request at least three (3) working days before the renewal date.

6. Modification of Terms

Jiinubi reserves the right to modify or discontinue Services at any time. Your continued use of the Services after revisions indicates acceptance of the updated Agreement.

Section headings are for convenience only and do not define, limit, construe, or describe the scope or intent of any provision.
