Communication Channels: When to Use Chat vs. Tickets
At Jiinubi, we offer different ways to get in touch. To get the fastest resolution possible, it’s important to choose the channel that matches the complexity of your request.
1. Support Tickets (Recommended)
The ticket system is our primary and most robust support channel. It is the only way to handle sensitive account changes or deep technical troubleshooting.
- Best for: Technical errors, billing disputes, site migrations, and complex configurations.
- Why use it: Tickets provide a paper trail, allow for secure file uploads, and can be escalated to senior engineers.
- Availability: 24/7/365.
For your security, our agents cannot change account passwords or delete services over Live Chat. These requests must be made via a ticket.
2. Live Chat
Live Chat is perfect for quick "how-to" questions or checking the status of a service.
- Best for: General sales questions, finding a specific Knowledgebase article, or basic "where is this setting?" queries.
- Why use it: Instant interaction for simple answers.
- Availability: Check the "Chat with us" bubble in the bottom corner of the Jiinubi website for current agent availability.
If a chat session becomes too technical, the agent will ask you to open a ticket so we can investigate the server logs thoroughly.
3. Email Support
You can also reach us by emailing our official support addresses. However, this is generally slower than using the Client Area.
- Best for: Pre-sales questions if you don't have an account yet.
- Wait time: Usually longer than the ticket system because the system must manually verify your identity.
Quick Reference Table
| Scenario | Suggested Channel |
|---|---|
| "My website is showing a 500 error" | Support Ticket |

| "I need to restore a backup" | Support Ticket |
| "Where do I find my FTP details?" | Knowledgebase / Live Chat |
Summary
For anything technical or account-related, a Ticket is always your best bet. Use Live Chat for quick pre-sales or navigation help. Always search the Knowledgebase first for the fastest answer!
