Managing Your App in the Client Area
Once your Managed App Engine service is active, you can control your app’s identity and monitor its build status directly from your Jiinubi dashboard. This centralized hub is where you transform your website settings into a native mobile experience.
Finding Your App Dashboard
To access your app management tools, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Jiinubi Client Area.
- From the top menu, navigate to Services → My Services.
- Locate your Managed App Engine service and click the Manage button.
You can quickly find your app by searching for its name in the search bar on the "My Services" page.
Monitoring the "Ready" Status
Inside the product details page, you will see a specific section for App Readiness. Because Jiinubi manually verifies your icons to ensure they look perfect on all devices, there is a short "Build Period."
- Status: Active – This means your billing is confirmed and your slot in the engine is reserved.
- Ready Status: Pending – Our engine is currently generating your splash screens and manifest.
- Ready Status: Ready – Your app is fully deployed! You will receive an automated email notification at this stage.
Apps typically move to Ready status within 1-2 hours of icon submission, provided the hosting account is active and in good standing.
Updating App Information
On the management page, you will find the Custom Fields section. Here, you can modify the following at any time:
- App Short Name: Change the text that appears under your icon (Max 12 characters recommended).
- Theme Hex Color: Update your brand color (e.g., #3498db).
- Start URL: Direct users to a specific landing page or your client portal.
The Suspension "Kill Switch"
The App Engine is deeply integrated with your account status. To keep your app functioning on your users' phones, your service must remain in the Active state.
If your hosting or app service becomes Suspended (e.g., due to an overdue invoice), the "Ready Status" will be overridden. Your app will temporarily stop loading, and the installation prompts on your website will disappear until the account is settled.

Your Client Area is your control center. Monitor your "Ready Status" to know when to launch, and use the Custom Fields to keep your app’s branding fresh. Always ensure your service status is Active to prevent app downtime.
