Pre-Migration Checklist
Before you submit your request, please ensure the following:
- Active Service: You have an active hosting plan with Jiinubi.
- Backup: While we handle the move, keep a local backup of your site for your own peace of mind.
- Account Access: Ensure your account with your previous host is active and not suspended.
Information We Need
To move your site, our team requires access to your old environment. Gather the following details before opening your ticket:

How to Submit Your Request
- Log In: Access your Jiinubi Dashboard (Client Area).
- Open Ticket: Navigate to Support > Open Ticket in the main menu.
- Select Department: Choose the Technical Support department.
- Subject Line: Use the format: Migration Request - [Your Domain].
- Provide Credentials: Paste the information gathered in the Information We Need section above.
- Security Note: Our ticket system is encrypted and secure. Never share passwords via Live Chat; use only the Support Ticket system.
- Submit: Click Submit and wait for our team to verify the credentials.
What Happens Next?
- Verification: A Jiinubi technician logs into your old host to check backup size and file compatibility.
- The Move: We copy your files, databases, and emails to your new Jiinubi server.
- Preview: A "Preview Link" is provided so you can check your site before updating DNS.
- Going Live: After confirming everything is perfect, we guide you on updating your Nameservers to point to Jiinubi.
Average Turnaround Time
Most migrations are completed within 4 to 24 hours, depending on your website size and your previous host's server speed.
Important Notes
- DNS Propagation: After the migration and Nameserver update, it may take up to 24 hours for your website to fully point to Jiinubi.
- Email Accounts: For full cPanel-to-cPanel moves, all email accounts and messages will be migrated automatically.
