How to Install WordPress in 1-Click (Softaculous)

Before You Begin
Ensure you have an active hosting plan, your domain is pointing to Jiinubi nameservers, and you can access your cPanel via the Jiinubi Client Area. Also, check that your Free SSL is active if you plan to use https://.

Step 1: Access your cPanel
Log in to your Dashboard.
- Go to Services > My Services.
- Click the active hosting plan you want to use.
- On the left-hand sidebar or in the Actions section, click Login to cPanel.
Step 2: Launch the WordPress Installer
- Inside cPanel, scroll down to the Software section.
- Click on the Softaculous Apps Installer icon.
- WordPress appears at the top of the "Top Scripts" list. Hover over it and click Install.
Step 3: Configure Your Installation
- Choose Protocol: Select
https://(Jiinubi provides Free SSL certificates for all domains). - Choose Domain: Select the domain name you want WordPress installed on.
- In Directory: Leave empty to install at
www.yourdomain.com. Typing "wp" installs atwww.yourdomain.com/wp.
Step 4: Set Up Your Admin Account
- Admin Username: Do not use "admin" for security. Choose a unique name.
- Admin Password: Use a strong combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Admin Email: Use an email you regularly check for password resets and notifications.
Step 5: Finalize and Install
- (Optional) Select your preferred language.
- (Recommended) Under Select Plugin(s), check LiteSpeed Cache for faster website performance on Jiinubi servers.
- Click Install at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: Access Your New Website
After installation completes, you will see two important links:
- Site URL: https://yourdomain.com – your live website.
- Administrative URL: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin – your WordPress dashboard.
Tips & Best Practices
- Always use strong admin credentials to secure your website.
- Keep LiteSpeed Cache enabled for optimal speed.
- Check that your Free SSL is active for secure https:// browsing.
- Use a staging site for testing new plugins or themes before going live.
- Regularly back up your site using cPanel or Jiinubi’s backup tools.
