Connecting Your Domain to Weebly
Connecting your domain ensures your website is accessible on the internet with your chosen domain name. This guide explains how to point your Jiinubi-managed domain to the Weebly Website Builder.
Prerequisites
- An active Jiinubi hosting service with Weebly Website Builder
- A domain name registered and assigned to your hosting service
- Access to your Jiinubi Client Area and DNS settings
Notice: DNS propagation can take up to 24–48 hours. Plan accordingly if you are launching a new website.
Step 1: Log in to Jiinubi Client Area
- Visit the Jiinubi Client Area.
- Log in using your registered email and password.
- Click Domains → My Domains from the dashboard menu.
Step 2: Select Your Domain
- Locate the domain you want to connect to Weebly.
- Click Manage to open the domain settings page.
Step 3: Update DNS Records for Weebly
To point your domain to Weebly, update the following DNS records in your domain management panel:
- CNAME Record: Point
wwwtoyour-site.weebly.com. - A Record: Point the root domain (example.com) to the IP address provided by Weebly.
Important: Make sure there are no conflicting DNS records (like old A or CNAME entries) for the same host. Conflicts can prevent your site from going live.
Step 4: Verify Connection in Weebly
- Log in to your Weebly editor.
- Go to Settings → Domains.
- Select Use a Domain I Own and enter your Jiinubi domain.
- Click Connect and wait for verification.

- Open your Weebly editor.
- Click Publish in the top-right corner.
