Threshold – The $50 Minimum Payout

The Payout Threshold is the minimum amount of Available (Cleared) commissions you must accumulate before a payment is triggered.

1. Why is there a Threshold?

Maintaining a threshold isn’t about holding your money—it ensures efficiency and reduces transaction costs:

  • Lower Fees: Sending many small payments incurs high bank and processing fees. A $50 threshold ensures more of your earnings reach you.
  • Administrative Speed: It allows our finance team to batch-process payments accurately and on time.

2. "Pending" vs. "Threshold"

Only Cleared commissions count toward your threshold. Pending commissions are still in the 45-day maturity period. For example:

  • If you have $100 in Pending commissions, your Available Balance is still $0.
  • Once the commissions Mature, they move to your Available Balance. As soon as this balance hits $50, you’re eligible for payout.

3. How Payouts Work at Jiinubi

  • Automatic Recognition: Once you hit $50, your account is flagged as "Ready for Payout."
  • The Payout Cycle: Payments are typically processed monthly (e.g., the 1st or 15th).
  • Payment Method: Funds are sent via your selected method: M-Pesa, Bank Transfer, or PayPal.

4. What if I don't hit $50 this month?

No worries! Your earnings never expire. For example, if you earn $30 in January and $25 in February, your total of $55 will trigger a payout in March. Your funds remain safely in your Jiinubi account until you reach the threshold.

5. Summary: How to Hit Your Threshold Faster

Strategy Why it works
Promote Annual Plans Annual plans pay a larger lump sum at once, often clearing the threshold with just 2–3 sales.
Bundle Services Encourage users to purchase Domain + Hosting + SSL. Higher cart value = higher commission.
High-Intent Keywords Focus on searches like "Best Web Hosting in Kenya" instead of generic terms like "What is a Website?" This attracts buyers who are ready to purchase.
⚠️ Important: Make sure your payment details (M-Pesa, Bank Account, PayPal) are correctly entered in your Affiliate Portal. We cannot process your $50 payout if your details are missing or incorrect.
