How to Use Banners and Custom Referral URLs (Deep Linking)
Using banners and deep links allows you to convert more visitors by sending them exactly where they are most interested. This guide explains how to use Jiinubi’s pre-made banners and how to create custom referral URLs.
1. Using Pre-Made Affiliate Banners
Visual advertisements often perform better than plain text links, especially in website headers, sidebars, and footers. Jiinubi provides professionally designed banners in multiple standard sizes.
- Log in to your Affiliate Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Banners section.
- Select a banner size (e.g., 728×90 Leaderboard or 300×250 Square).
- Copy the HTML code shown next to the banner.
- Paste the code into your website’s HTML, widget area, or blog post.
Note:
The banner code already contains your unique affiliate ID. You do not need to modify the link or add anything manually.
2. What Is Deep Linking?
By default, your affiliate link sends visitors to the Jiinubi homepage. Deep linking allows you to send users directly to a specific product or page instead.
For example, if your article is about VPS Hosting, sending users straight to the VPS page significantly increases conversion rates because they land exactly where they expect.
3. How to Create a Custom (Deep) Referral Link
You can turn any Jiinubi page into an affiliate link using this simple formula:
The Formula:
Target Page URL + ?aff=YOUR_ID (or &aff=YOUR_ID)
Examples:
- VPS Hosting Page:
https://jiinubi.com/vps-hosting.php?aff=123 - Account Registration Page:
https://jiinubi.com/register.php?aff=123
Important:
If the page URL already contains a question mark (?), use an ampersand (&aff=123) instead of another question mark.
4. Best Practices for Affiliate Link Placement
| Contextual Links | Linking keywords like “Affordable Web Hosting” naturally inside content. |
| Call-to-Action Buttons | Buttons like “Get Started Now” convert very well at the end of tutorials. |
| Comparison Tables | Use your deep link in the “Visit Site” column for each plan. |
Tip:
Always test your affiliate links in an Incognito or Private browser window. If the page loads correctly and the URL stays intact, your tracking is working perfectly.
