How to Enable or Disable Auto-Renewal

Auto-renewal helps ensure that your websites and domain names do not expire unexpectedly. When enabled, Jiinubi automatically generates a renewal invoice before your service ends and attempts to settle it using your account credit or saved payment method.

Managing Auto-Renewal for Domains

  1. Log in to the Client Area
Access your Jiinubi account using your registered email and password.
  2. Navigate to Your Domains
Click on Domains > My Domains from the main navigation menu.
  3. Manage the Domain
Click the Manage Domain button (or wrench icon) next to the domain you want to update.
  4. Open Auto-Renew Settings
From the left-hand sidebar, click on Auto Renew.
  5. Toggle Auto-Renewal
    • Enable Auto-Renew: Click Enable Auto Renew. The system will automatically invoice and renew the domain before expiry.
    • Disable Auto-Renew: Click Disable Auto Renew. You will need to manually renew the domain before it expires.

Managing Auto-Renewal for Hosting Services

For hosting plans (Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS, or Cloud Servers), auto-renewal is controlled through recurring invoices rather than a simple on/off toggle.

  1. Go to Services > My Services.
  2. Click on the hosting service you want to review.
  3. Review the Recurring Amount and Next Due Date.

If you wish to stop automatic charges:

  • To stop card charges, remove your saved card under Billing > Manage Credit Card.
  • To stop the service completely, submit a Request Cancellation from the service page.

Important Considerations

  • Invoice Notifications: Even if auto-renewal is disabled for a domain, Jiinubi may still send reminder emails to help prevent accidental expiration.
  • Account Credit Priority: If your account has available credit, the system will automatically apply it to renewal invoices first.
  • Domain Expiry Warning: If auto-renewal is disabled and a domain reaches its expiration date, the website and email services tied to it will stop working immediately.

Pro Tip:
Even with auto-renewal disabled, always keep your contact email updated to receive early renewal reminders and avoid service interruptions.
