Minimum and Maximum Deposit Limits for Add Funds
To ensure security and prevent fraudulent activities, Jiinubi sets specific limits on how much you can deposit into your account credit at one time. These limits are visible on the Add Funds page but are summarized below for your planning.
Deposit Limits (Shared Hosting & WordPress Accounts)
- Minimum Deposit: $10 USD
This ensures that each transaction covers at least a few months of basic hosting or most of a domain renewal. - Maximum Single Transaction: $200 USD
This limit protects your account from high-value unauthorized transactions. - Maximum Account Balance: $500 USD
The system typically limits the total "wallet" balance you can hold at any given time.
Why Do These Limits Exist?
- Transaction Fees: Small deposits are inefficient because payment processing fees would consume a large portion of the amount.
- Security: By capping the maximum deposit, we minimize the potential impact if someone gains unauthorized access to your billing dashboard.
- Regulatory Compliance: Jiinubi follows standard financial guidelines regarding pre-paid balances and anti-money laundering (AML) practices.
What if I Need to Pay a Larger Invoice?
- Direct Invoice Payment: For high-value invoices (such as multi-year VPS renewals or dedicated servers) exceeding $500, pay the invoice directly using the "Pay Now" button. Direct payments generally allow much higher limits than the Add Funds wallet feature.
- Multiple Deposits: You can perform several Add Funds transactions until you reach the total required (up to the maximum account balance of $1,000).
???? Pro Tip: Planning a major infrastructure upgrade and need to deposit over $500? Contact our billing team first for a custom invoice or bank transfer details to handle larger amounts smoothly.
