Moving from "Self-Signed" to Trusted SSL

Once the Certificate Authority (CA) validates your domain, they will email you your Certificate (.crt file).

Installing the Certificate in cPanel:

1. Log in to cPanel and go to SSL/TLS > Install and Manage SSL for your site.
2. Select your domain from the dropdown menu.
3. Choose one of the following:
   • Autofill by Domain: Use this if the CSR was generated on the same server.
   • Manual Paste: Paste the .crt text manually if it came from another server.
4. Click Install Certificate. Your site will now show the secure padlock in browsers.
