Jiinubi.com Uptime Guarantee

Jiinubi offers a monthly Uptime Guarantee (“Guarantee”) for the Hosted Services You purchase from Us. This policy defines our commitment to service availability and the remedies available to You in the event of unforeseen service interruptions.

1. Scope of the Guarantee

If Jiinubi fails to meet this Guarantee, as solely determined by Us, due to an internal infrastructure or equipment failure, You will be eligible for a Service cycle prolongation for the time the Service was unreachable.

  • Maximum Remedy: The maximum Service cycle prolongation granted is one (1) month of free hosting.
  • Validation: All reported downtime must be confirmed by a staff member of the Jiinubi Support Team.

2. Service Level Commitments and Remedies

The specific uptime percentage and the resulting compensation vary depending on the hosting service tier purchased.

2.1 Reseller & VPS Accounts

All Reseller and VPS accounts are ensured with a 99.9% monthly Guarantee.

  • Ineligible Threshold: The first forty-five (45) minutes (approx. 0.1%) of Service unavailability per month are not eligible for credit.
  • Remedy: If the Service uptime falls below 99.9%, We offer a 1-day Service cycle prolongation for each hour the server has been down below this limit.

2.2 Shared, Business & Dedicated Server Accounts

100% monthly Guarantee covers all Value, Professional, Ultimate, Business, Stellar, Stellar Plus, Stellar Business, and Dedicated server accounts.

  • Exception: Intel Xeon E3-1220 v3 Series Dedicated server accounts are governed by a 99.9% monthly guarantee.
  • Remedy: For non-scheduled maintenance or downtime, We offer a 1-day Service cycle prolongation for each hour of downtime experienced.

3. Claim Procedure

To claim a Service cycle prolongation, You must contact Jiinubi by submitting a ticket to our Billing department.

  • Timeline: Claims must be filed within the first 10 calendar days after the downtime event took place.
  • Exclusivity: If Jiinubi provides a remedy or prolongation, this shall be Your sole and exclusive remedy for the service issue. Jiinubi shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss or damage caused by the failure of Service.

4. Limitations and Exclusions

The Uptime Guarantee does not apply to service interruptions caused by factors beyond Jiinubi’s direct internal infrastructure control. Non-eligible interruptions include, but are not limited to:

  • External Attacks: DDoS or similar attacks on Our servers.
  • Software & Scripting: Third-party software failures, custom scripting errors, or the installation of third-party applications.
  • User Action: Maxing out Your resource container limits or errors/omissions made by You.
  • Network Conditions: Issues across the internet outside of Our network (e.g., between Your ISP and Our data center).
  • Local Issues: Browser or DNS caching issues and firewall blocks/bans.
  • Force Majeure: Any act of God or force majeure resulting in service failure.

5. Policy Amendments

Jiinubi may at any time amend or vary the terms of this Guarantee by providing notice on the Jiinubi website.
